Beyond the label

Nineteenth-century Château Canet is one of the leading domaines in southern France’s Minervois region. Its 100+ acres of vines are ringed by olive groves, pine forests and more farmland. While the estate’s surroundings are enchanting, the wines are even more so—as you’ll taste with this dazzling white Réserve.

Proprietor Floris Lemstra knew his ancient Roussanne and Bourboulenc vines (‘vieilles vignes’) had helped him produce something really special. And we agree: a previous vintage of his Family Réserve won gold medals at two of France’s top shows, and we expect this new release to win its own acclaim.

Château Canet is a classic Minervois white, offering up vibrant citrus and tropical fruit characters, plus hints of delicate floral spice notes. Floris is rightfully proud of his elegant handiwork, so he only agreed to send us a limited amount of cases. If you’re looking for a perfect white to serve with seafood (sushi is Floris’ favorite match), grilled chicken or roasted turkey, look no further and Add to Cart today (before everyone else beats you to it).
