Beyond the label

Welcome to the Côtes des Bar, a once-forgotten area that’s now the hottest region in Champagne. It’s home to talents like Cédric Bouchard, whose top releases now command over $1,000…per bottle.

But our local expert, Sarah, discovered an independent family estate that’s producing wines of superb quality at very fair prices. Nicolo & Paradis is a small domaine founded in 1951 by Henry Nicolo. Third-generation David Nicolo and his wife, Agnès, are now at the helm, tending less than 50 acres of sustainably grown vines that lie on perfectly situated, south-facing slopes.

This is their Prestige release, a limited-edition Champagne of real character and class. It is 70% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, with a high percentage of Reserve wine, that was aged for five years on its lees. All of this serves to give it extra body, texture and richness. You’ll enjoy a creamy mousse and a perfect balance of freshness and biscuity complexity. A real treat for the holidays or any special occasion.

Only 1,500 bottles imported to the U.S. Order yours today.
