Beyond the label

A familiar face from stage to screen since the early 1970s, the Italian-American, Tony-nominated Paul Sorvino enjoyed a long and successful career. This elegant Cabernet Sauvignon is a captivating tribute to the hugely talented actor, artist and philanthropist.

Much like Cabernet Sauvignon, the authoritative characters that Paul Sorvino portrayed had thick skin which provided the films plenty of color and flavor. Who can forget him in his iconic role as Paulie Cicero in Martin Scorsese’s “Goodfellas”?

But the man always remained true to his identity as an artist. Sorvino’s many fans know him as an opera singer, poet, author, ballroom dancer and philanthropist. As he would say, “None of it was gangster!” This Cabernet is similarly charming, made with pristine fruit from California’s Santa Ynez Valley AVA (located within the famed Santa Barbara County). It overflows with smooth and juicy berry flavors.

Enjoy it with your favorite foods (topped with thinly sliced garlic) and your favorite Sorvino movies.
