Chenin Blanc is South Africa’s star white grape—and this fresh release from Stellenrust is a delicious example of the wines it can produce. It was crafted in the premium Stellenbosch region, often called South Africa’s answer to Napa Valley.
But let’s not forget the estate. Established in 1928, Stellenrust is one of South Africa’s most acclaimed family-run wineries. They grow their Chenin Blanc high up in the Bottelary Hills, an area renowned for its cool climate and sea breezes that impart fresh, intensely concentrated flavors to the fruit.
