Flavor Profile
Tablas Creek is “one of the highest-quality estates in California” (The Wine Advocate) with slews of 90+ point scores. And they make this serious, small-batch blend of Grenache Blanc, Viognier and Marsanne just for you.
The estate was founded in 1989 by California wine legend Robert Haas and France’s renowned Perrin family (of Château de Beaucastel, i.e. the most famous Châteauneuf-du-Pape of all). The partners chose Paso Robles, as the region’s hilly, rugged terrain and brilliant wash of sunshine is perfect for Rhône grapes like the ones in this special white. In fact, the Perrins were so reminded of home, they decided to plant some Beaucastel vine cuttings here.
Nearly 30 years later, Tablas Creek has been established as one of THE names in Paso Robles, making wines that achieve huge (well-deserved) success. And in 2019, Tablas Creek became the first vineyard in the world to achieve the Regenerative Organic Certification, a three-pillar approach that reinforces the highest standards for soil health, animal welfare and worker fairness.
Cuvée Paso Blanc marries Grenache Blanc, Viognier and Marsanne for layers of ripe citrus, orchard fruit and perfumed honeysuckle notes. Full bodied, yet vibrant, the wine has a lush texture, balanced by refreshing acidity. Delicious with seafood, roasted white meats or mildly spicy dishes.
It’s a serious honor to bring you a taste of Tablas Creek—we can’t recommend their wines highly enough. Strictly first come, first served.
