The Van Zeller family helped put Portugal’s Douro Valley on the fine wine map. Crafted in celebration of their 400th vintage, it hails from the family’s prime-sited vineyards in the Alto Douro Vinhateiro and stars Touriga Nacional (aka, the great grape of Port).

With its terraced, steep slopes, this trendy inland district is warmer and drier than the rest of the Douro, which helps the grapes develop richer, more complex flavors. It also demands that vines be hand-harvested—a painstaking process that helps ensure top quality.
